What's The Deal About Outdoor Living Spaces?
If you live in Oregon, then you know that you need to be outdoors to enjoy the weather whenever we have a chance to. It’s probably why you decided to move here or continue living here past your childhood.
We enjoy endless hiking, fishing, and all the outdoor activities the Willamette Valley has to offer.
You can spend all the time you want outside, but eventually you’re going to have to come home. Especially if you have children.
Our Services

We have years of experience in installing decks, and we can help you today. No matter what you need, we have the skills to help.

Patio Builder
Going for a more Mediterranean look, why not choose to build a patio?
Our patio builders can build a floating patio that is attached to your home or a little distance from it.
Do you have a pool? We can build a patio by or around that too. By placing it in an area of sunlight, you can reap all of the rewards from being outdoors.
We have a choice of materials, from poured concrete to natural stones and slabs. Want space for a large patio furniture set or a large umbrella to provide shade? No problem, we have you covered. If you can dream it, then we can build it.

Porch Builder
A porch is a great way to create a welcoming entrance to the front of your home, along with giving you a place to relax and people watch. From simple front porches to wraparound porches to farmer’s porches, we can do it all.
With years of experience as porch builders, we can create the house of your dreams. With options for open porches, covered porches, screened porches, and decorative porches, we can help you achieve the look that you want.
The best thing about a porch is that it will also increase the value of your home. Adding a porch will add to the resale value, and it is an addition that you can enjoy too.

Deck Repair
No matter how well your deck was built, it will eventually need repairs. Of course, there are some companies that build substandard decks, and DIY projects can often go wrong. No matter what the reason is for needed repairs, you can trust us.
When it comes to deck repair, we will be completely honest with you. More often than not, to get what you really want, you may have to demo your old deck and leave it to our professionals to build what you really want. However, before you worry about budget, call us to schedule a free estimate so we can give you all of your options.

Shade Structures
Living in Oregon, you know that it gets warm then really rainy the very next day. Shade structures allow you and your family to enjoy your yard all through the year.
Too much sunshine can be dangerous to yourself, pets and young children. A shade structure is the solution that you need.
Too much rain just isn’t fun, but it’s not an excuse to not hang out outside.
If you want to spend more time outside, host all day parties, or read in some shade, than a shade structure is for you. We can build standalone shade structures, add a shade structure to an existing deck/porch, or build a brand new deck with a shade structure.

FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
The truth is, there is no “average” deck. Builds can be anywhere between $2,000 for small projects to as much as $50,000 for larger projects. Commercial builds and larger homes can cost more, and obstacles or custom designs can also drive up the cost. What we can tell you are the things that will contribute to the price of your deck installation.
Here they are:
- The custom design you’ve requested
- Square footage
- Features
- The type of material (TREX, composite, wood, etc.)
A full deck build can be anywhere from two days to two weeks once all of the necessary permits and materials are acquired. Just as with the pricing of your deck, the design, square footage, and features will contribute to how long it takes to build your custom deck.
Lucky for you, our deck builders work extremely quickly, not because they rush quality work, but because they have done all of this dozens of times. Whether you want to build a large backyard paradise or a small wood deck, nothing is too big or small for our teams.
We would expect nothing less. When we come in to build your deck, we do not want to disturb your life, and our professionals are trained to bother you as little as possible. You may notice a little extra noise, but that is all.
We also want your feedback. When we start, we know what you want, but that can change over time. If you are at home during the process, we can catch any problems before they arise. Of course, if you want to take a vacation while we build, then go away and return to a beautiful deck.
Simple deck repairs cost anywhere between $500-$1,000. However, we often will recommend that you build a new deck instead of just doing patchwork on your old one.
The reason why?
We hate to say it, but your average deck builder does a poor job of building decks and most of the time their work will require us to just demolish it and start over.
Benefits Of Building (Or Repairing) A Deck
Increase The Value Of Your Home
In all instances when we build a deck, you’ll see a nice little increase in the value of your home. This can come in handy when you’re ready to move on from your home, but don’t let this distract you from the fact that you won’t want to waste a second enjoying the deck while you live in the home.
The aesthetic appeal decks add to your home add a lot of value. We’ve spoken to real estate agents that say a deck can be a deal-maker for a prospective buyer.
Want to hear an interesting fact, on average a homeowner will recoup about 70% of the cost of building the deck when selling their home.
Low Maintenance
Decks are very low maintenance compared to many other home improvement additions. Generally you’ll only have to stain your deck every few years. You can do this yourself, or hire someone to do it for you.
In our experience composite decking is the lowest maintenance and also lasts the longest. PVC decking comes in a close second and looks the best in our opinion. Pressure treated decks need to be refinished every couple of years, but at the end of the day that’s not an exorbitant amount of maintenance at that, is it?
Relatively Inexpensive
Many of our customers end up choosing between a kitchen/bathroom renovation and a deck. They end up choosing the deck because it will cost much less than the renovation. We can build a simple deck for about $5,000- $7,500, compared to your average renovation that runs about $20,000 – $25,000.
If you paid that much for a new deck, you would get an outdoor living space that would (no exaggeration) be the talk of the town.
Additional Space
No room in the garage or sunroom, then adding a deck is a great idea if you want somewhere to put your potted plants, outdoor seating, and even a grill.
The additional space will also give you room to host awesome parties and get togethers when it’s just too beautiful outside to keep the festivities indoors.
